Daydream State owns and operates some of Seattle’s favorite bars, restaurants and independent venues.

We simultaneously produce a myriad of year-round live events and festivals that celebrate the city’s vibrant music and arts culture. We believe that hospitality, music and entertainment are intrinsically connected and help anchor an ever-changing city like Seattle, to its history and roots.

We like to build, experiment, strategically plan and collaborate with others to create community around our properties.

Whether we are ambitiously working on new projects, or refining tried and true concepts, we treat the creative process as integral to the very nature of what we do and are inspired by our staff, clients, bands and patrons daily. Our 25-year history in the Pacific Northwest music and entertainment scene has given us an incredible opportunity to champion and promote some of our favorite local, regional and national artists.

Through the venues, concerts and festivals we produce and run, we are humbled by the talent we get to engage with and the support we receive from our fellow music lovers.

Our approach to hospitality is also born from our love of the creative process.

We keep it simple and approachable by providing an eclectic mix of neighborhood bars, pizzerias, a 24-hour diner and one of the oldest taverns in the city - all of which are filled with good music and some of the best staff in Seattle. We try to create spaces that become a second home for many, where folks can connect with their community and friends. We always keep it accordingly casual. Our goal is simple in that we are dedicated to the preservation and proliferation of music, entertainment and hospitality, with the ultimate goal of creating memorable experiences.
